Hi there, I'm Vishal Subramanyan! I'm a 21 year old wildlife conservation photographer and UC Berkeley undergraduate.
In 2015, I visited Alaska with my dad to fulfill my dream of seeing bears fishing salmon. When I was there, I borrowed my dads camera and got hooked onto wildlife photography. Ever since, every free second I've had has been spent outdoors with a camera in hand.
Since 2015, I've been documenting wildlife in my home state of California and beyond. Through my photography, I hope to share compelling visual stories that capture the wonder of wildlife and the importance of conservation. I believe photography has the power to change the world - and I hope to continue capturing stories to inspire positive change to the planet we call home.
